Water softener
Used in hard water where the hardness is >80mg/L. Ideally to protect the scale buildup on water ionizer plates.

STANDARD WATER SYSTEM

WITH SOFTERWATER CONDITIONER
How does it work?
- Each alloy core is created through a specialised foundry process, blending multiple dissimilar metals selected from the anode and cathode galvanic scale.
- When in contact with water, intense galvanic reactions occur along the length of the alloy core.
- Minerals are attracted to these galvanic sites as they flow through the system.
- Mineral buildup on ionizer plates or heating elements is more easily removed during routine maintenance.
The galvanic action, combined with increased water velocity and turbulence along the alloy core, reduces mineral buildup. These subtle changes to the minerals in water effectively prevent costly downstream hard water issues.
BENEFITS:
- Reduced surface tension of water (hard water has high surface tension).
- Minimised hard water problems.
- Protection for your water ioniser investment.
- Reduced scaling and corrosion.
The galvanic water softener specifications:
- Average flow 5L/min
- Max flow 8L/min
- ½” BSP female threads on both side
- Length 112mm
- Material 316SS (Stainless Steel)

INSTALLATION & FITTING TYPE
The unit can be easily installed onto the water supply line with minimal disruption.

Installation options include:
Fitting 1: (Far left) Installed before the undersink prefilter housing (after the pressure reduction valve)
Fitting 2: (Middle) Installed after the hard line prior to the undersink filter tee (so it treats both filter and tap)
Fitting 3: (Far right) Installed above the sink, before the water.
