Benefit:
The modular design of this setup allows for future upgrades — including the addition of filters for hardness reduction or enhanced molecular hydrogen production (currently in development).
Important Note:
This system requires an existing hole in your sink to install the dedicated filter tap. This tap is essential for directing water from the under-sink filter housing. If you do not have an existing hole in your sink, you can either drill a 10mm hole yourself or purchase a dual tap directly from our website, the dual tap will replace your current tap.
Step 1: Under-Sink Housing Installation Overview
Begin by positioning the under-sink filter housing beneath your sink, close to the cold water line and the hole designated for the filter tap. This overview provides a clear layout of where each component will be installed.
Step 2: Connecting to the Mains Water Line
Watch the video below for a step-by-step walkthrough on how to connect your cold mains water line to the system.
Step 3: Installing the Filter Tap
To install the filter tap, you have 3 options:
- Use an existing sink hole – Many sinks come with an extra hole that’s capped with a metal plug.
2. Drill a new hole – If no spare hole is available, you can create a new 10mm hole in your sink or bench top.
3. Upgrade to a dual-function tap – Replace your existing kitchen tap with our dual tap, which includes a built-in filtered water outlet. This option avoids the need for any drilling and will replace your current tap.
Choose the setup that best suits your sink configuration and preferences.
Step 4: Connecting the ioniser to the Filter Tap
Once your filter tap is installed, connect your ioniser inlet hose directly to the filter tap spout. This ensures that only filtered water flows into your ioniser unit, helping to protect the internal plates and extend the machine’s lifespan. Be sure all connections are secure to prevent leaks, and turn on the filter tap slowly to check water flow before powering on your ioniser.

How To Change The Housings Filters
Remember: when replacing filters to always disconnect your ioniser from your PreFilters and flush your system for 5–10 minutes before reconnecting it.
If you’re unsure which filter goes where, you can check the Filter Replacement Guide on our Replacement Filter page on our website (scroll to the description section).
Please review the full system setup to ensure all components are correctly connected.
